Nike designer describes life inside the Innovation Kitchen
While a lot of sneaker fans out there are definitely opposed to the idea of hybrid sneakers, there are a whole lot of sneakers that are of the hybrid variety that simply feature designs that are so nice that no sneakerhead is able to pass them up. While this may be a harder feat to pull off with the Air Jordan sneakers, for sneakers in the Nike LeBron lineup it is much easier. Recently a shoe released that almost no one was able to say they didn’t like and we are going to be looking at the latest version today. This is the new Nike Air Max 24-7 in Black, Challenge Red and Varsity Red.
Sharapova showed shades of play in the peach and pale blue dress she wore in Melbourne. The lemon Maria Line 9 dress (MSRP: $120) she’ll wear in Paris takes its design aesthetic from the Tower, according to Nike Dunks designers, offering a yellow criss-cross pattern across the front.
“We really looked to the design of the (Eiffel Tower) in building something very strong yet lightweight and breathable,” Lucena says of the new dress, which offers a built-in bra for support and a double-layered skirt with a brighter yellow under layer, covered with a light-weight mesh top.
Matching white-and-yellow Lunarlon Speed 3 shoes (MSRP: $120) complete Sharapova’s outfit. The shoes feature extra durable rubber on the outsole and toe tip for protection and support when sliding.
The South Lakes Boys and Girls track teams hosted the Nike Spring Invitational on Saturday.
The meet brought together 15 of the area's top programs. The boys team won the team title and the girls placed fifth as a team. Sean Price and Emily Lopynski won individual titles.
With the postseason still to come, there have already been numerous post season qualifiers. Qualifying for the state championship: Sean Price in the 100 meter dash,, 200 meter dash, high jump, and triple jump; Armando Drain in the 300 meter hurdles, and Kyannah Calhoun in the 800 meter run.
