Shareef said he doesn’t expect Williams to fall lower than the second round, mentioning the trio of first-round running backs in 2010 – C.J. Spiller at No. 9, Ryan Mathews at No. 12 and Jahvid Best at No. 30 – saying, “I hate to be biased, but they’re not better than Ryan Williams.” Shareef also believes that, along with the positive feedback he’s getting from NFL teams, the invite to New York and the new Nike endorsement deal are pointing to good news in the draft.

Global sportswear brand Nike Dunks Running by Sweatshop welcomed the first customers to its new outlet in Princesshay yesterday.
"We just learned last weekend that the money has been set aside by the province, and when the water level is settled, which presumably will be after next winter, at a sufficiently low level then they are, we anticipate, start the remedial work cycle," says Elbow resident Bill Nike.
Nike says they had hope something would have been done this winter, but they are happy with the response of the Province, "It hasn't worked out that way and I think we're just comfortable and confident, at the moment, that all of our overtures to Regina have been positively responded to," adds Nike.  "While we locally are impatient to see something happen, at least we have a statement of intent."

This isn’t exactly a shocker. Burks is an outstanding talent and will likely be a Top 10 pick in June’s draft, so it makes complete sense for him to come out now.

Most people probably overlooked his contributions this season since he played for a Colorado team that didn’t make the Big Dance, but the guy can flat out play.

He averaged 20 a game this season, and is just a prolific scorer. He’s extremely athletic and should be able to make a smooth transition to the league. He’ll be a shooting guard, but can handle the ball like a point guard, which certainly will help him at the next level.

Like I said, I don’t believe the transition is gonna be that difficult for him, as he’s just a natural scorer. And well, scorers know how to score no matter what the situation is.
Following the Nike Sportswear “White Pack” we showed you yesterday, we now have new images of the Foamposite Nike Air Force 1“White Pack”. So far, this shoe has received the most praise from the summer-ready Nike Dunks Sportswear “White Pack”. They were one of the teams that definitely had a complaint for not making it into the tournament, and I think they could have done some damage had they made it in. So that’s one of the reasons as to why there wasn’t as much hype surrounding him over the last month or so.

On the flip side, at 243 pounds and 4.8 percent body fat and 18 years of age, Biyombo has an NBA-ready body but is incredibly raw on the offensive end and admits his shot remains his top priority in terms of improvement.  However, the long, high-upside big man has turned many heads due to his amazing athleticism and desire to improve.  Most recently, Biyombo tallied a triple-double at the Nike Hoops Summit, scoring 12 points to go along with 11 rebounds and 10 blocked shots against Team USA.
Nike pampered us all (there were around 20 media members in attendance for the weekend) as only they can. But it wouldn’t have mattered had the product been mediocre. As I saw in the media wear test, it definitely wasn’t.

The PS is the final release of the trifecta. Petrie said James has always thought of the season in two parts: there’s the long, 82-game marathon and then a quick, 28-game sprint in the playoffs. Combining that with LeBron’s long love affair with the lion – “He’s the beast,” Petrie said. “The king of the jungle.” – brought the designers to think way outside of the box.

Paul says signing with Bobcats 'something to think about'

In a phone interview with The Associated Press to promote the Jordan Brand Classic high school basketball All-Star game on Saturday in Charlotte, Paul alternated praise for Jordan while stressing that his immediate concern is the Hornets' impending first-round playoff series.
"I'm one of those people who tries to stay in the moment," the four-time All-Star point guard said.
But Paul, who has a contract with Jordan's Nike Zoom Hyperfuse footwear and apparel division, didn't mind reminiscing about a meeting Jordan for the first time when the Lewisville, N.C., native played in the Jordan Brand Classic in 2003.
"Now that he has a team, he's like a kid in a candy store," Paul said of Jordan. "He's so happy because he's one of those guys that no matter what, he can't get away from the game."

Getting Paul would be Jordan's first big coup and wold help erase a decision made by the Bobcats in 2005 before Jordan's arrival. Charlotte turned down a trade offer to move up from the No. 5 spot in the draft. Paul then went to the Hornets at No. 4.
"I thought about it then when I got drafted," Paul said of the potential of playing pro ball in his home state. "But that feels like that was so long ago now."

"We were getting ready to take the team picture," Paul said. "I was sitting in one seat and (current Los Angeles Lakers guard) Shannon Brown was sitting in another seat and the middle seat was open. We obviously knew MJ was going to walk in and sit there. When he walked in, man, he just took over the room. And he actually walked up and knew my name. So that's something I'll never forget.

The green Nike Zoom Kobe is being released for a limited time in very limited numbers in honor of the 2011 Masters, and to be honest, I haven't had a chance to tee up my pre-release samples (thanks, spring for making me wait). So I can't yet comment on whether the "revolutionary" resin core is as amazing as it has been billed.
While most sneakers generally concentrate on doing what it is that they do best, there is often a lot of crossover involved as well. What we mean by that is not only do they create sneakers but also create footwear that is part of another genre as well. By doing this the sneaker companies get a chance to show off their versatility and some companies are definitely better at it than others. Nike Dunks is one of the masters of operating outside of their comfort zone but Reebok is quite good at it as well. Today we are going to look at the latest example of that, this is the new Nike Dunks 6.0.
