Nike Software Turns Runners' Footsteps Into Loopy, Swooshy Paintings

To promote a new collection of shoes, Nike Dunks records runners' paths, then converts them into art prints.

Running is already a thing of beauty, as anyone who's watched Prefontaine float sublimely past a finish line will tell you. Here to push the sport even further into the realm of fine art is Kid's Nike Dunks, which commissioned a project recently that lets runners paint with their most cherished asset: their feet.
In this time that global meltdown is a threat, going green will definitely help. This is one reason why the Zoom Kobe Structure 14+ appears with a very cool ambience that brings an all- green apple upper of mesh and Flywire panel with hints of white. The running spirit that this model owns is as cool as the rainforest that promises a healing temperature to the Earth. For soothing summer footwear, check this one out at retailers such as RMK.
An official release date for the Nike Air Force 1 Low Foamposite Pro “Retro” hasn’t been announced at this time, but rumors are suggesting a July launch. We’ll keep you informed on further details, until then check out the detailed photos after the jump.

He joins an impressive group of stars who also just signed with Nike – A.J. Green (Georgia), Nick Fairley (Auburn) and Patrick Peterson (LSU) – all of whom are expected to be first-round picks. There’s a possibility Williams could be taken in the late first round (the last Tech first-rounder was offensive tackle Duane Brown in 2008), but most NFL draft “gurus” believe he’s going to be selected anywhere from early second round to early third. It would be shocking if he goes any lower.
“We’re feeling really optimistic,” Williams’ agent, Malik Shareef, said Monday night. “We’re still a little unsure about where exactly he’ll end up, but we’ve spoken to over half of the 32 teams in the NFL. He’s worked out for five teams and visited another five teams. A lot of teams are showing serious interest. We believe he could go from the late first round to the early second.”
Shareef said he doesn’t expect Williams to fall lower than the second round, mentioning the trio of first-round running backs in 2010 – C.J. Spiller at No. 9, Ryan Mathews at No. 12 and Jahvid Best at No. 30 – saying, “I hate to be biased, but they’re not better than Ryan Williams.” Shareef also believes that, along with the positive feedback he’s getting from NFL teams, the invite to New York and the new Nike endorsement deal are pointing to good news in the draft.
